So, here's what's been going on. I'll share good news, bad news, random silliness, and ask a few questunz. It shall be good.
Fucking OW. On April 30th, I was in a crash. Here's how it went down: I was in the truck with John, and we had just gotten out of the Mobile tunnel. We were passing by the area where the leftmost lane has to merge into traffic, and John was trying to get in the next lane over (we were in the rightmost lane), so he put on his signal light and started to move into that lane. But then a red car cut him off, to which he said "Thanks, asshole!" and got back in his lane. But the red car was coming into OUR lane and POW! We went off the road down a fairly steep incline and bumped into a little cement ditch, which probably kept us from hitting any trees. We bounced a good bit and got pretty bruised and scraped up (though mostly John, I had moved my seatbelt away from my neck and then hung on for dear life, while he didn't). The red car (which had a family of 5) had flipped over (or so I'm guessing, since the hood was damaged) and everyone in that vehicle at least was able to walk. I'm actually rather glad they hit us, because for whatever reason caused them to lose control (a tire blowout, simply going too fast, etc.) would have resulted in them hitting the bridge just ten feet further and they all would have likely died. It was a scary experience and I'm still hurt a little, but I'm so glad everyone's alright.
My grandpa (maternal)is dying. This all started in April when he had several heart attacks, and a few different infections. After everything seemed peachy, he started feeling crappy again so he went back to the doctor and had cancerous polyps removed from his colon. After having surgery like that, his heart was weakened even more and although the cancer was thankfully in only the polyps (or so they say) discovering he had cancer was more than he could stand and his spirit weakened along with his heart. The doctors said there's nothing more they can do for him, so he's been sent home and is now in the care of hospice. It's only a matter of time now... 
Oh joy.
Grandma had colon cancer about 20 years ago and grandpa had cancerous polyps in the same region. I think you know what that means, don't you? I'm not thrilled at the aspect of my mom, uncles, siblings and myself being ticking time bombs for cancer.

Pris dropped off a neglected and very pregnant cat at our house named Cleo [link] and she had her kittens yesterday! Lookit how cute [link] 4 alive and one stillborn. Polly refuses to come indoors because she wants to protect her (aww) and we've taken care of the primary threat to her kittens. He's an un-neutered white tom we just called Nuts (and neglected, by the looks of it) so we dropped him off at the house of a lady all too willing to take care of him across town. SUCCESS!Eh...I kind of wonder if some of the photos I offer as prints are really print-worthy or not. I mean, I certainly want the option available if there's someone out there that actually wants to buy them, but meh... What do you think?
