EDIT: Patches was euthanized today. Her condition was just so terrible that we could no longer allow her to suffer. A true testament to why I support euthanasia. If our pets are suffering such a horrible and painful death and are mercifully allowed the sweet escape of death, then why can't people be allowed the same luxury? It's not murder, it's mercy.
I've been pretty emotional as of late, which would probably not make me inclined to responding to comments/journals in a good manner. I should probably be All Better _TM soon. And then I shall give my darlings their much deserved love

And regarding Patches... she can no longer close her mouth and is becoming rail thin. She still eats, but I really think that the end is soon for her

Do you ever feel like you're a horrible person sometimes? Do you ever feel like you're undeserving of others' attention and love? Or that you really don't deserve to live? I've been feeling that way lately more and more, and it's really starting to have a negative impact on my life I'm not really in a position where I can get professional help of any kind, so those negative feelings are just building up and building up and I feel that I will soon burst. The worst thing about this though, is that I really feel as though these feelings are completely unwarranted and I just can't figure out where they're coming from. Oh well. That will just be one more thing to keep me up at night
